Weekly McAlester News-Capital Roundup

Last week may have been the single busiest week of my now six-month career at the McAlester News-Capital. Not only did I crunch six team’s worth of interviews for my Pitt 8 Conference Preview (thanks to Brandy, James and Jeane for all their help!), but I also had to work in a feature for our “Accent” section in Sunday’s paper (thanks to Kevin for all his help), another feature for our upcoming women-geared “Bella” section, plus not totally neglect my daily coverage of local teams (which included my first printed sports column!).

All of that translated into a lot of long days and late nights stacked up against each other, and by the end of it, I was pretty fried.

And then the Patriots lost.

So in many ways, an exhausting week. Still, I think all the work turned out pretty good!
